Apostle James, Adelphos, the Less, Obliah
On hearing his testimony, many of those present cried, "Hosanna to the Son of David."
As the Lord's disciple you received the Gospel, O righteous James;
As a martyr you have unfailing courage;
As God's brother, you have boldness;
As a hierarch, you have the power to intercede.
Pray to Christ God that our souls may be saved.



God's ways with man and the things He does to draw him to Himself never cease to amaze us. Someone who steals ten times a day might decide one day to steal only nine times and this may be enough for God to enter in and remove him from his sinful ways. God's love is madness indeed, but the madness of God is infinitely wiser than the wisdom of men.
